Travelling through Amsterdam
From Centraal Station, several trams, buses and metros leave for your destination in Amsterdam. Nowadays you don't need to buy a ticket, but can check in with your phone or debit/credit card, how convenient is that? Of course it is still possible to buy a ticket, this can be done very easily at the designated machines at the station, tickets for the tram or bus can be bought in the tram or bus itself.
On your way to the Anne Frank House? Then hop on tram 13, which will take about 10 minutes. Trams 2 and 12 take you to Museumplein, where you will find the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum and Moco Museum, as well as the Concertgebouw. These trams also pass Leidseplein. Rembrandtplein can be reached by tram lines 4 and 14. For travelling by metro, it is best to take metro lines 51, 52, 53 and 54. The metros come every few minutes and get you where you need to go in no time. In other words, you can use public transport to get anywhere in Amsterdam!
